Pretzel Bites

Don’t you just LOVE foods that you can pick up, dip, and eat?? Make Pretzel Bites! We recently watched the Super Bowl and Hailey and I made these delicious pretzels as one of our snacks. These are perfect for any occasion though! They are easy to make and fun to prepare with your kids. Hailey has been learning to cook lately so this was a perfect recipe for that. Master Chef Jr. has a cooking set out and I will provide the link so you can get it for the young chefs in your house!

RECIPE

Pizza Dough (You can buy a ball of pizza dough or make your own.) I used Pillsbury Hot Roll Mix and followed the pizza dough recipe on the box. It is located in the baking aisle at the grocery store.

Roll dough into cherry size balls

I rolled 1/2 the dough into pretzel shapes also

Drop balls into a pot filled with 1/3 cup baking soda and 5 cups boiling water. Cook 1 minute or until puffy. With a slotted spoon remove balls ad drain on paper towels. Transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush dough with 1 beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 450 until golden brown.

Great with cheese sauce or mustard! These are really yummy! Please send me a comment when you make them!!
